A recent video clip showcasing Cyberpunk 2077 in virtual reality with ray-traced reflections on an RTX 4090 graphics card has impressed the gaming community. Cyberpunk 2077, developed by CD Projekt Red, was undoubtedly one of the most highly anticipated games of 2020, known for its immersive storytelling and sprawling virtual city.

However, experiencing this futuristic dystopia in VR takes the gaming experience to a whole new level. While Cyberpunk 2077 is already demanding in 2D, VR requires significantly more processing power, necessitating a top-tier gaming rig. The recommended system for running Cyberpunk in VR includes a powerful CPU like the Intel Core i7-4790 or AMD Ryzen 3 3200G, at least 12GB of RAM (though 8GB may suffice), and a graphics card such as the GeForce RTX 2060 or Radeon RX 5700 XT with 6GB of video RAM.

Getting Cyberpunk 2077 to run seamlessly in VR is not a plug-and-play experience and may require some technical expertise. However, dedicated modders like Luke Ross have created tools like the R.E.A.L. VR mod, making it possible for gamers to venture into Night City from a whole new perspective.
