Our first title, Dimraeth, is a top-down 2D multiplayer RPG featuring a rich, handcrafted world, set for full release in 2026. Role Description
Mudtek is seeking a Marketing Manager to lead the launch and ongoing marketing efforts for our brand new indie title, Dimraeth. This is a full-time remote position and is open to applicants worldwide.
We’re looking for someone who can take initiative—set a clear marketing timeline, define goals, and run with the strategy. You’ll be our marketing lead, responsible for developing and executing compelling campaigns that build awareness, grow our community, and drive excitement around Dimraeth. This includes social media, influencer outreach, game festival preparation, content creation, community engagement, and more.
You’ll work closely with the development team to align marketing strategies with our vision and game milestones. This is a unique opportunity to join a passionate indie team and help shape the public voice of a game from the ground up.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute marketing strategies and go-to-market plans for Dimraeth
Set timelines, define measurable goals, and manage marketing budgets
Create and manage marketing campaigns across channels (social media, influencer partnerships, paid ads, etc.)
Conduct market research and analyze performance data to guide decision-making
Oversee social media presence, content calendar, and community engagement
Coordinate with the development team to align messaging with game features and updates
Drive awareness, player acquisition, and long-term engagement
Manage PR efforts, including press outreach and promotional events
Qualifications
Must have launched at least one indie game title
Proven experience building and running marketing strategies for games or similar digital products
Strong understanding of community building, online engagement, and player acquisition
Skilled in digital advertising, social media management, content creation, and PR
Proficient in analyzing marketing data to optimize performance
Self-starter with excellent organization, communication, and time management skills
Comfortable working independently and collaborating with a remote, cross-functional team
Passion for indie games and multiplayer experiences is a big plus!
