Nintendo reveals list of Switch games that are currently incompatible with the Switch 2, says it's currently investigating issues

Ahead of the Switch 2's June release, Nintendo has publicly released a list of over 15,000 games that it is currently working on getting to run well, if at all, on the new system, with one completely incompatible.
The details:
On a new page dedicated to highlighting the backwards compatibility of Switch 1 games on the upcoming console, the company has shared a list of over 15,000 titles, with the majority said to be fully functional. However, a number of third-party releases fail to start properly or encounter other issues in-game, with more requiring additional testing.
Some of the most notable games include Warframe, Rocket League, Fortnite, and Dead by Daylight. For almost all of the games, Nintendo simply states that the "issue is being investigated" with no explanations as to why the issues have arisen, while Fortnite has been noted as having a Switch 2 version on the way.
The list of games that run but have other in-game issues includes Alien: Isolation, Fall Guys, Alan Wake Remastered, and Factorio. As with the previous list, Nintendo has provided no additional details and is currently investigating all issues.
However, it has been confirmed that the Nintendo Labo Toy-Con VR kit, which includes the Switch's DIY cardboard VR goggles, is completely incompatible with the Switch 2 as the console cannot be inserted into them. The news isn't surprising given that the Switch 2 is larger than the original Switch, but it appears that the other three Labo kits may still be compatible.
More Switch 2 news:
The Switch 2's revealed game lineup is one of the best we've ever seen for a console launch, featuring a new Mario Kart, Kirby, and an assortment of third-party AAA and indie releases.
Fans have criticized Nintendo for charging $80 for certain titles, such as Mario Kart World and the next-generation version of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. It has also been confirmed that some physical game cartridges will only function as download codes for digital games.
Nintendo has revealed the Switch 2's new hardware and software features, which include mouse-like controls, GameChat, and more.
