Bungie's Marathon reboot receives several new cryptic teasers

More information about Bungie's extraction shooter reboot of its classic Marathon FPS series has emerged after months of silence, with cryptic teasers that fans are scrambling to decipher.
The details:
Bungie has launched what appears to be a new ARG ahead of Marathon's reveal, based on multiple new posts to the game's official X account. The first post appears to be an ASCII art recreation of footage from the game's first teaser trailer, and its Steam page has been updated to include a similar header image.
Just hours later, Bungie posted another video showing a "UESC security alert" with a robotic voiceover and a long string of strange symbols. The video was accompanied by a post that read "UNAUTHORIZED TRANSMISSION MANIPULATION DETECTED These individuals are using illegal technology sourced from: http://one.voice.many.hearoursilence.com,” pointing fans towards a strange website. The bland website consists of text reading “OBS BREAKS THEIR CHAINS. i n t e r a c t / l o g i n / l i v e. THE SYSTEM FEARS WHEN MANY. BECOME ONE. MIDA IS WATCHING MIDA IS RISING." It also invites users to log in through Twitch, implying a live reveal with future in-game rewards for viewers.
The account's latest post is another cryptic video, this time with what appear to be several drawings, similar messages to those found on the aforementioned website, and some eerie audio.
During the rollout, Bungie also shared a post from Franchise Art Director Joseph Cross, that showed a new image of three armed characters walking among several bright green crates.
Marathon was announced in 2023 with a short teaser. While the game bears the name of the original pre-Halo franchise, it will instead be a multiplayer extraction shooter in which players must complete quests, retrieve loot, and upgrade their equipment. In October of last year, game director Joe Ziegler shared some new concept art and confirmed that the project was still on track.
