Switch 2 will have “10x the graphics performance” of the original Switch, Nvidia says

Nvidia, the manufacturer behind the Nintendo Switch 2’s GPU, claims that the console will have "10x the graphics performance" of its predecessor thanks to its "custom" design.
The details:
In a new post on its website, Nvidia revealed new information and confirmed previous reports from the Switch 2's first hands-on event. The company states that the console has a "custom" GPU with RT Cores and Tensor Cores. RT Cores enable impressive real-time ray tracing, dynamic lighting, and improved reflections, whereas Tensor Cores "boost AI-powered graphics while keeping power consumption efficient." “With 1,000 engineer-years of effort across every element — from system and chip design to a custom GPU, application programming interfaces (APIs) and world-class development tools — the Nintendo Switch 2 brings major upgrades,” it wrote.
Nvidia has also confirmed that the Switch 2 uses its DLSS AI upscaling technology to provide higher and more stable frame rates. In the latest Nintendo Direct, it was revealed that using the tech means the console can output a solid 4K 60FPS when docked and up to 120FPS at 1080p when in portable mode.
The company also confirmed that the Switch 2 will use a variable refresh rate when in portable mode through its G-Sync technology, which matches the screen's refresh rate with the frame rate outputted by the GPU, allowing for "ultra-smooth, tear-free gameplay."
