Krafton has confirmed that InZOI has sold over one million copies in just a week of its early access release, making it the publisher's fastest-ever title to reach the impressive milestone.

The details:

  • Krafton shared news of the milestone in a post on X, thanking fans for their support and stating that it is a "number that still feels unreal to us and a milestone we could not have reached without each and every one of you." "We are grateful and excited to present InZOI to players around the world through Early Access," CEO CH Kim said in an accompanying statement. "We will continue to actively communicate with players and foster InZOI as Krafton's long-term franchise IP."

  • InZOI was released in early access on March 28 and had already become Steam's most-wishlisted title just days prior. It has received generally favorable reviews from players and critics due to its unique, in-depth, and more realistic take on The Sims formula. However, its release has not been without controversy, with reports highlighting that an "unintended bug," which has since been fixed, allowed players to hit and kill children with cars.

  • Krafton has already shared a roadmap of future content for the game's four major updates this year, which will be released in May, August, October, and December. In May, InZOI will receive an official modding kit, new furniture and outfits, improvements to its build mode, and a number of new gameplay features, including the ability to adopt children. Krafton is currently aiming for a full game release in 2026, with console versions also in its plans.
