According to reports, several pre-release builds for upcoming games from various studios have been uploaded to a data mining Discord server.

The details:

  • As reported by Insider Gaming, several builds of upcoming games have been uploaded to an undisclosed Discord server, including Riot's fighting title 2XKO, Embark's ARC Raiders, Killing Floor 3, PLAYERUNKNOWN Prologue: Go Wayback, and an early version of popular free-to-play shooter Delta Force Hawk Ops.

  • However, according to an anonymous member of the server, only games without proper protection are likely to be shared online with the public. The builds are now being used for data mining, which means that unannounced content will most likely start circulating soon, particularly for popular titles like 2XKO.

  • It is currently unknown how the builds were obtained, as none of the studios behind the games are directly connected. It is thought that the games may have originated from third-party playtesting services, invite-only playtests, or even directly from a vulnerable server. It has been confirmed that each game has been accepting player applications for playtests over the last year, suggesting that participants have simply shared the files despite signing non-disclosure agreements.
