The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake launches November 5 on Switch 2, Nintendo announces

The details:

• The remake is largely a 1:1 recreation of the original game but with substantially revamped environments and quality-of-life improvements. New additions include a dedicated jump button — a notable departure from the original, where Link could only jump automatically — and seamless transitions into shops and interiors that previously triggered loading screens.
• The game includes Zelda Notes support via the Nintendo Switch App. Ocarina of Time-specific features include Today's Record, which logs daily in-game accomplishments and stats; Gossip Quest, a scavenger hunt where players find in-game locations using hint images on their phone to earn points toward new ocarina music scores; and Play Ocarina, a virtual ocarina on the phone's touchscreen that lets players perform songs, follow guides, or create and share custom scores via QR code.
• A 40th Anniversary Switch 2 console bundle, Pro Controller, carrying case, and amiibo figures were also announced alongside the reveal. The November 5 date puts the remake two weeks before GTA 6's November 19 launch. The developer has not been officially named by Nintendo.
