Nexus Mods is acquiring SteamDB, the independent site that tracks Steam player counts, builds, depots and manifests, with no price disclosed. The modding portal wants SteamDB's historical build data to power mod compatibility tracking, so players can see which version of a game they are running and whether an update is likely to break the mods they have installed.
