Senior UI Artist
About the Role
We are building a new mobile strategy game from the ground up, and we need a Senior UI Artist who can help define its visual identity from day one. This is not an execution-only role. You will shape how the UI looks, moves, and feels, and then build it yourself directly in Unity.
If you have strong mobile game craft, a clear design sensibility, and the hands-on Unity experience to carry UI from early concept to shipped product, we want to hear from you.
What You Will Own
- Define the visual language, motion style, and overall feel of the UI from early direction through to final implementation.
- Create high-quality UI art across screens, HUDs, menus, buttons, icons, popups, rewards, and feature interfaces.
- Implement, polish, and maintain UI directly in Unity, owning the work end to end.
- Translate wireframes and game design intent into UI that feels clear, responsive, and purposeful.
- Build reusable components, layout patterns, and implementation standards that scale with the project.
- Own the UI style guide across typography, iconography, color, hierarchy, motion, and interaction feedback.
- Collaborate closely with game designers, the Art Director, VFX, technical artists, engineers, and production.
- Keep UI assets optimized for mobile, including memory, draw calls, readability, and screen size variation.
- Identify visual, technical, and workflow issues early and bring practical solutions to the table.
What You Bring
- Significant mobile game UI experience, with a preference for midcore titles.
- Strong hands-on Unity UI implementation skills, specifically Unity UI systems, UGUI, and UI Toolkit.
- Solid visual design fundamentals: layout, hierarchy, composition, color, typography, and iconography.
- Mastery of industry-standard UI/UX tools including Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects.
- A self-driven, organized approach where you identify what needs attention without waiting to be asked.
Portfolio Requirement
A portfolio is required with your application. Show us mobile game UI that demonstrates visual quality, motion design, and hands-on Unity implementation. Applications without a portfolio will not be reviewed.
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. Portfolio review is the first stage of the process.
