Summer Game Fest 2024 date and details confirmed
New details regarding the date, times, and content of Geoff Keighley’s gaming showcase Summer Game Fest have been revealed.

In a post to X, Keighley confirmed that the show will air at 2pm PT / 5pm ET / 10pm GMT on Friday, June 7. Tickets for the physical show, which will take place at the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles, will go on sale on May 7 through Ticketmaster.
Not much is known about what will be shown at the event yet, but it will include "new video game announcements, first-looks, and trailers," (via IGN) with last year's event revealing more information about Spider-Man 2, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, and Baldur's Gate 3.
SGF is seen as the successor to E3, which was cancelled last year, bringing the trade show to an end after more than two decades. Other publishers and developers are expected to host their own showcases under the SGF banner, and Microsoft has confirmed that it will hold its Xbox Showcase in June.
