Resident Evil 2 remake has sold less than 10,000 units on iOS according to estimates

It is estimated that the iOS port of Resident Evil 2's remake sold fewer than 10,000 units, with the majority of those sold at a discount.
The details:
Resident Evil 2 was released on the App Store in December and can only be played on higher-end iOS devices such as iPhones and iPads with A17 Pro chips or higher. While the game is free to download, it essentially serves as a demo, and players must pay for the full version to progress beyond a certain point.
According to Appmagic's data (via Mobilegamer.biz), the game has generated slightly more than $100,000 USD in sales since its release last month. The game was sold at a discounted price of $10 in December, but has since been raised to $40. The data claims that Capcom earned an estimated $95,000 during the discount period, indicating that 9,500 players purchased the title, with only 175 more paying full price, generating $7,000.
Assuming the data is accurate, it marks yet another mobile port failure for Capcom, after less than 2,000 players paid for the full $20 version of Resident Evil 7 despite 83,000 free downloads back in July. Similarly, other home title ports, such as Death Stranding, Assassin's Creed Mirage, Resident Evil 4, and Resident Evil Village, have reportedly sold poorly, in part due to the need for higher-end hardware and a lack of interest in playing PC and console games on smartphones.
