Vampire Survivors announces a collaboration with Among Us
Two of the decade's biggest indie successes have announced a collaboration with Vampire Survivor's upcoming Emergency Meeting DLC, which will feature characters from Among Us.
The collaboration was announced during The Game Awards' recent Day of the Devs livestream, and a full animated trailer showing how the Among Us crewmates ended up in the very different world of Vampire Survivors was released. The DLC will be available for $2.49 on Steam and Xbox on December 18, with mobile and Nintendo Switch versions following later.
More information about the DLC was revealed in a FAQ post on Poncle's website, with it including nine characters, 20 in-game unlocks, a new stage based on Among Us, "the ability to see the future," and an Adventure. The adventure is a short campaign in which Vampire Survivors characters are transported to Among Us' Polus map.
Some gameplay of the new characters can be seen towards the end of the trailer, giving us an idea of what to expect in terms of their abilities, and it appears that the power-ups will be based on tasks and roles found in Among Us.
