Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League's Epic Games Store release has been delayed
It has been confirmed that Rocksteady Studios' Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has been delayed once more, though this will only affect the Epic Games Store version's release date.
The details:
The delay was announced by Rocksteady on the game's Discord server, pushing back the EGS release date by a month to March 5, 2024. The game's PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Steam versions are still scheduled to release on February 2, 2024.
It was not revealed why the game was delayed specifically on the storefront, but the studio did confirm that Epic will now cancel pre-orders and provide refunds directly to buyers.
Kill the Justice League has been delayed several times since its initial announcement, with Rocksteady pushing the game back from May 2023 following an extended gameplay showcase earlier this year that was met with negative feedback. Ahead of the game's release, publisher Warner Bros. is attempting to combat leaks from its closed alpha test, with Rocksteady calling the situation "disappointing" earlier this week.
More gaming news:
It has been revealed in the recent Insomniac Games leak that the studio's next title is set to be a Spider-Man spin-off focused on Venom, which will arrive in Fall 2025.
Arkane Lyon's Blade will be built with the studio's own Void Engine, which was previously used to create Dishonored 2 and Deathloop.
