Denuvo sues game hacker for cracking 26 titles including Resident Evil Requiem and Black Myth: Wukong

The details:

• The complaint was filed on Monday in the US District Court for the Northern District of California. It accuses voices38 of bypassing Denuvo's anti-tamper technology across all 26 named titles, violating the anti-circumvention provisions of the DMCA.
• Games named in the suit include Resident Evil Requiem, Stellar Blade, Black Myth: Wukong, 007 First Light, Pragmata, Hogwarts Legacy, Doom: The Dark Ages, Mafia: The Old Country, Assassin's Creed Mirage, Dead Space Remastered, and Sonic Frontiers, among others. Since Denuvo compiled its list, voices38 has reportedly released additional cracks for Persona 3 Reload and Star Wars Outlaws.
• Denuvo is seeking financial damages and an injunction preventing voices38 from circumventing its anti-tamper tech in "any past, present, or future video game" — the "future" qualifier being particularly sweeping.
