Geoff Keighley has confirmed several major titles that will make an appearance at Gamescom’s Opening Night Live from the likes of Microsoft, Capcom, and Konami.
The details:
- ONL will be broadcast live on Tuesday, August 19, via Twitch, TikTok, and YouTube at 8 p.m. CEST/2 p.m. ET/11 a.m. PT. In a new tweet from Keighley, the event host confirmed that Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, Resident Evil Requiem, Ghost of Yotei, Ninja Gaiden 4, The Outer Worlds 2, Silent Hill f, and World of Warcraft: Midnight will all appear at the show, with more games to come.
- It has been announced that the event will also include a musical performance featuring music from Sandfall Interactive's critically acclaimed Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. Season 2 of Amazon's Fallout TV series adaptation will also appear in some form, most likely with a teaser trailer following the release of a new promotional poster featuring New Vegas.
- Chinese developer Game Science previously announced that Black Myth: Wukong, as well as CI Games' Lords of the Fallen 2, will be shown during the livestream. It's unclear what else might appear, but fans believe Hollow Knight: Silksong will get a release date, as it will be playable for Gamescom attendees.
