Capcom has reported its financial results for the past fiscal year, posting its ninth consecutive year of record profits and game sales.

The details:

  • According to the company’s latest financial report, it sold 59.07 million units during the fiscal year, which ended March 31, 2026, marking the highest annual total in its history and up around 14% on the previous year. Its latest big release, Resident Evil Requiem, led in regard to sales, selling about 6.9 million copies, while other titles across major franchises such as Resident Evil, Monster Hunter, Street Fighter, and Devil May Cry made up roughly 84% of units sold.
  • Net sales reached 195.3 billion JPY (roughly $1.24 billion USD), a 15% year-over-year increase, while operating profit rose to around 75.3 billion JPY and net profit to roughly 54.5 billion JPY, both new all-time highs for the Japanese publisher.
  • Capcom also confirmed that 93% of its total game sales were digital, with around 54.5% of units sold on PC and 38.5% on consoles.
  • Capcom is now forecasting further growth for the current fiscal year, targeting net sales of 210 billion JPY and net profit of 58 billion JPY, aiming to shatter its own records once again.
