Roblox is establishing a regional headquarters in Riyadh to support creators and developers across the Middle East and North Africa. The move comes alongside a formal partnership with Saudi Arabia's Savvy Games Group and a series of creator education initiatives, placing Roblox within the country's broader Vision 2030 digital economy programme.

As reported by Pocket Gamer, the Riyadh office will serve as Roblox's operational base for the MENA region. Its setup has been backed by the Saudi Ministry of Investment, Riyadh Creative District, and the General Authority of Media Regulation.
Roblox signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Savvy Games Group to expand its presence in the kingdom, with a focus on using the platform as an educational tool for teaching STEM skills to students, creators, and game studios.
Roblox backed Saudi Arabia's inaugural Play to Learn competition, which drew more than 700,000 high school students who submitted original game design concepts for the chance to have their ideas developed by a professional studio.
Arabic language support is being expanded alongside the regional push, though Roblox has acknowledged that Arabic chat moderation is still developing and that in-chat features remain restricted in parts of the Middle East in the interim.
