Xbox's upcoming release plans have been shared in a new report, with new details of major first-party titles, including Halo, Gears of War, Starfield expansions, and more, revealed.

The details:

  • As reported by The Verge's Tom Warren, internal Microsoft documents outline the Xbox’s schedule for 2026. It’s claimed that the company is aiming to release Halo: Campaign Evolved, Halo Studios’ remake of the original 2001 title, during summer 2026, with The Coalition’s Gears of War: E-Day set to arrive later. The schedule has been set with the intention of avoiding any crossover with the launch of Grand Theft Auto 6, which will be released on November 19 and is expected to be the biggest video game launch in history.
  • Also included in the report is word of an April release for Kiln, the upcoming party brawler from Psychonauts studio Double Fine. New content for Starfield is reportedly set to be revealed soon, with a PS5 release potentially arriving in April.
  • It’s said that Fallout 3 Remastered is in active development at Bethesda, though it lacks any release window. “Bethesda is keen to ensure it's as well polished as the surprise release of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered last year," Warren shared.
