Xbox Games Showcase 2026 and Gears of War: E-Day deep dive announced for June

Xbox has confirmed that its big summer Xbox Games Showcase 2026 will air on Sunday, 7th June, and will be immediately followed by a dedicated Gears of War: E-Day Direct focusing on the series’ next mainline entry.

The details:

• The Xbox Games Showcase 2026 will be livestreamed worldwide on Sunday, June 7, at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm BST, aligning once again with the wider Summer Game Fest window.
• Microsoft says to expect first gameplay showings and “huge” updates on upcoming games from its first-party Xbox studios, as well as titles from third-party partners ranging from major releases to smaller indie releases.
• Directly after the main presentation, Xbox will air a Gears of War: E-Day Direct, offering a deeper look at the long-awaited prequel, including gameplay and further details from The Coalition.
