Operating under the enigmatic alias of NIHIL INANE STUDIO, an Osaka-based indie game developer has released an eye-catching trailer that serves as a first look at "Lost Fragment", their forthcoming survival horror FPS deeply influenced by the creepy visual language of Japanese horror.

The newly released teaser gives audiences a tantalizing preview of Lost Fragment's gameplay. It features the main character cautiously moving through the creepy hallways of what seems to be a deserted medical facility. Eerie sounds and ghostly door movements ramp up the overall horror ambiance.

What truly sets the trailer apart, however, are its jaw-droppingly lifelike graphics and meticulous lighting, creating the illusion of a live-action recording rather than digital gameplay.

As of now, the development team has been tight-lipped about details surrounding Lost Fragment. The mysterious NIHIL INANE STUDIO doesn't have a significant online footprint, apart from the new YouTube channel where the trailer resides and a new X account, both of which were just created yesterday.

The solid details they have disclosed are that the game will harness the powerful Unreal Engine 5 from Epic Games and that all of the game art is made by hand with no photogrammetry at all.
