Activision has announced that Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile will be shutting down in April 2026, less than a year after it revealed that support for the title would be coming to an end.

The details:

  • As announced in a new post to its official support site, Warzone Mobile will no longer be playable in any form beyond April 17, 2026. This follows the delisting of the title in May 2025, though it has remained playable since then for those who had already downloaded it via the App Store or Google Play.
  • Activision explained that the game β€œdid not meet our expectations with mobile-first players like it has with PC and console audiences,” but stated that it was β€œproud of the accomplishment in bringing Call of Duty: Warzone to mobile in an authentic way.”
  • The publisher recommends that players with COD points on their Activision accounts spend the in-game currency before the shutdown, as some Warzone Mobile cosmetics can be used in other versions of the battle royale. Players can use the same Activision account to play COD titles on PC, console, and the more popular mobile title, COD Mobile.
