Update: Ubisoft has officially released the game's new story trailer.

Ubisoft Japan has accidentally revealed that Star Wars Outlaws will be released on August 30, 2024, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.

The details:

  • As spotted by Gematsu, a premiere for the game’s upcoming trailer was uploaded to YouTube by Ubisoft Japan ahead of its release at 9 a.m. PT, and included a description confirming its August 30 release date. The description and video are now unavailable on the channel.

  • The description also stated that Gold and Ultimate editions of the game will be available, which include a season pass and three days of early access. Pre-order bonuses for all editions include cosmetic skins for the Trailblazer spaceship and speeder as part of the Kessel Runner bonus pack.

  • Shortly after the game was announced last year, creative director Julian Gerighty revealed that it would be a "very manageable" RPG in comparison to Ubisoft's larger 200+ hour games. Ubisoft Massive also confirmed that the game's planets were all "handcrafted" and that their size is equivalent to "about two of the zones in Assassin's Creed Odyssey."
