Pokémon Winds & Waves will arrive in 2027, Nintendo announces

The Pokémon Company and Nintendo have officially revealed Generation 10 of the Pokémon game series, Pokémon Winds and Pokémon Waves.

The details:

• As announced during the latest Pokémon Presents presentation, the two mainline titles will launch in 2027 as Switch 2 exclusives.
• During the showcase, the generation’s three new starter Pokémon were revealed: Grass-type “Browt,” Fire-type “Pombom,” and Water-type “Gecqua.” Two new Pikachu variations, Ms. Waveychu and Mr. Windychu, were also revealed, and it was confirmed that the player’s outfit changes depending on which version of the game is being played.
• The trailer showcased several areas located in the unspecified region, including a volcano and beaches, with a focus on oceans, suggesting that underwater exploration may be introduced for the first time.
