Nintendo has made a surprise announcement that a Direct will be held tomorrow, September 14, with several upcoming titles expected to be shown off and revealed.

The details:

Nintendo announced the Direct on its social media channels, with the livestream beginning at 7 a.m. PDT and lasting approximately 40 minutes. The only official information we have is that it will be focused on "games releasing this winter.”
Earlier this week, leaker @Pyoro_X hinted that a Direct was on the way, with hints that the rumored F-Zero GX remaster could be announced for a winter release. The leaker also claimed that remakes of a "DS game and a Wii game" that are somehow related will be revealed, as well as the return of Mario vs. Donkey Kong.
Fans can also expect to see more of the Super Mario RPG remake, the new WarioWare title, Super Mario Bros. Wonder, and Princess Peach, as well as a possible appearance of Luigi's Mansion 2.
However, it's almost certain that Nintendo will not reveal anything about its rumored successor to the Switch, which was rumored to have been shown off behind closed doors at Gamescom. With the system reportedly slated for release in the second half of 2024, the company will likely hold a separate console unveiling event.
