It has been claimed that Nintendo is preparing to finally unveil a brand-new Star Fox title for the Switch 2 before the end of April.

The details:

  • According to reliable insider Nate the Hate, Nintendo is working on a new Star Fox game for the Switch 2 that is planned to be confirmed by the end of the month. It’s said that the announcement will be made via the Nintendo Today's app or the company’s social media accounts instead of a dedicated Nintendo Direct, like other notable first-party releases.
  • Back in March, Nate first mentioned the Star Fox revival, which will be the first original entry since 2016’s Star Fox Zero, which launched to mixed reviews on the Wii U. Not much else has been shared about the project other than it would be a more “classic” on-rails shooter game, but the IP's appearance in the recent Super Mario Galaxy movie suggests that the rumors could be true.
  • It is also claimed that a remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is on the way, which is set to be one of the company’s major holiday releases. NateTheHate explained that he had no details regarding the remake and that it could be anything from a 1:1 remake to something that changes various elements of the original N64 version.
