Indiana Jones and the Great Circle reportedly coming to PS5 in 2025, insider claims
It has been claimed by industry insider Nate the Hate that MachineGames' Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will be released on PS5 in 2025 after a brief exclusivity period on Xbox.
The details:
In a post to X, the insider claimed that the game, like many recent Xbox releases, will be available on both Xbox and PC in December as a "timed console exclusive." Once this window expires, Xbox is expected to release the action adventure title on the rival platform "in the first half of 2025."
The release plans are expected to be announced later today at Gamescom's Opening Night Live. Last week, reports surfaced that Microsoft was planning an announcement about one of its major titles, with Windows Central claiming that there was a "large chance" it would be related to Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.
The game was announced in early 2021 as a multiplatform release, but it was later changed to an exclusive, with Bethesda's Pete Hines claiming that the decision allowed for more "streamlined" development. Despite this, the game was mentioned as a potential candidate for Microsoft's multiplatform strategy, alongside other notable titles like Starfield.
