Grand Theft Auto VI will arrive in Fall 2025, Take-Two confirms
Take-Two Interactive has confirmed that Grand Theft Auto VI will be released in Fall 2025, narrowing down the previous launch window of next year.
The details:
The new release window was revealed in the company's Q4 2024 financial report, which stated that it would not be released during the current fiscal year, which ends in March. "Our outlook reflects a narrowing of Rockstar Games' previously established window of Calendar 2025 to Fall of Calendar 2025 for Grand Theft Auto 6," the publisher said. "Consumer anticipation for the title is unprecedented and our expectations for its commercial input continue to increase."
The publisher also stated that it is "highly confident that Rockstar Games will deliver an unparalleled entertainment experience," and that it anticipates improved financial performance over the next three years as a result of its projected commercial success.
GTA VIβs trailer was officially released in December 2023, becoming one of the fastest-viewed videos in the history of YouTube. This came after a leak the day before, and only a year after in-development footage of the game was made available online in one of the industry's biggest leaks of all time.
