MediEvil and Days Gone may be receiving movie adaptations

Fans have noticed that the new PlayStation Productions website may be hinting that MediEvil and Days Gone will be adapted into films or TV series, with Hollywood writers retweeting posts about the rumors.

The details:

• PlayStation Productions, a Sony subsidiary dedicated to producing TV shows and movies based on PlayStation IPs, has a new website with a video detailing its mission statement and featuring some notable characters. Nathan Drake from Uncharted, who was played by Tom Holland in the game's 2022 film adaptation, can be seen, as can Kratos from God of War and Aloy from Horizon, both of which have TV shows in the works.
• Fans noticed that a pair of legs and a skeletal hand holding a sword resembled Sir Daniel Fortesque, the protagonist of MediEvil, a PS1-era title that received a PS4 remake in 2019. Deacon St. John from Days Gone can also be seen in the video, implying that rumors of a Days Gone movie may be true.
• Twitter user @realradec shared their findings, which were later reposted by writers Ben Mekler and Chris Amick, both of whom have previously worked on Hollywood projects. Mekler added a thinking and sunglasses emoji to his repost, while Amick simply said "IYKYK" (if you know, you know), implying that both writers are involved in the project.
• When it comes to bringing its gaming IPs into other forms of media, Sony has been on a roll, with Gran Turismo, Horizon, God of War, Ratchet and Clank, Ghost of Tsushima, The Last of Us, and Uncharted all receiving TV shows or movies or being said to be in development despite no official confirmation.
