Ahead of Final Fantasy XVI’s (FF16) launch on June 22, game producer Naoki Yoshida has revealed that a PC port will arrive in the future, with development starting soon.

The details:

Yoshida revealed Square Enix's plans to bring the upcoming title to PC after its six-month exclusivity deal on the PlayStation 5 expires in an interview with ASCII. According to the producer, development of the port will begin immediately following the title's global release.
Yoshida has previously discussed a PC version of the game, stating that while the exclusivity deal with Sony is only for six months, this does not mean that the game will be available immediately on PC or its rival, Xbox Series X/S. He stated at the time that creating a port optimized to the level of the PS5 version in a "short span of half a year" was impossible.
FF16 will be released on June 22nd, with a free demo now available on the PlayStation Store. It will be set in the dark fantasy world of Valisthea, expanding on the open-world design introduced in FF15. So far, the game's combat has been one of its most praised systems, with designer Ryota Suzuki referring to it as his "personal masterpiece" despite having worked on titles like Devil May Cry 5.
