The Wolf Among Us 2 re-revealed with a 2027 release date, original remaster on the way

Telltale has re-revealed The Wolf Among Us 2 with a new 2027 release window and will release a remaster of the original game to tide fans over until it arrives.

The details:

• After years of silence and multiple development overhauls, Telltale announced at Summer Game Fest that The Wolf Among Us 2 is now planned for a 2027 launch across PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and Switch 2. The game is being published by PM Studios, with Telltale’s partnership with DC, Vertigo, and Warner Bros. continuing.
• The long‑awaited sequel was first announced in 2019, before missing several release windows in 2023 and 2025 as Telltale went through major layoffs as part of an internal restructuring. Despite the cuts and silence surrounding the game, the studio reaffirmed that the project was still in the works.
• To get fans back up to speed with the series’ story so far, Telltale is releasing The Wolf Among Us Remastered later this year across all platforms. The new version will bring upgraded visuals and animation, improved audio, UI, and accessibility features, plus over an hour of bonus content, including deleted scenes, developer commentary, and cast interviews.
