Pasquale Scionti, a talented Principal Lighting/Lookdev Artist has created another stunning piece, this time based around the hit CD Projekt Red game franchise, The Witcher. Previously we have showcased Scionti's amazing work on futuristic cities, Dark Souls-inspired graveyards, and luscious forests.

The personal project by Scionti takes inspiration from The Witcher series, a popular book, game, and TV franchise that has grown in popularity over the years. With the upcoming Witcher co-op game "Project Sirius" rumored to be in development again, we have high hopes that the quality of the environments will match that of Scionti's!

The scene was created using the new Unreal Engine 5.2 software and utilized Quixel's tools, Lumen, and Nanite technology. An extra layer of depth was added into the environment from the HDR lighting, which used directional light, and volumetric fog.

The forest was built up by using procedural trees from a MAWI asset pack and the terrain and the path were created by Scionti using the Unreal sculpt tool and Quixel megascan assets.
