The Duskbloods closed network test is now available to download
FromSoftware

FromSoftware's Switch 2-exclusive online action RPG The Duskbloods is nearly playable, with download codes for the closed network test going out on August 18. The test itself doesn't open until August 21, but players who got in early are already sitting at the title screen just to listen to the menu music.

The details:

  • Selected participants can grab their download code from the game's official beta site after logging in with a Nintendo account. The pre-load is around 4GB.
  • The network test runs across five windows between August 21 and 23, each four hours long. A Nintendo Switch Online membership is required to participate.
  • Files from the pre-load appear to contain 14 playable classes, leaked by dataminers. Named characters include Blood-Eater (Walter A), Guillotine (Gillian), Foul-Rot (Veronica), Nail-Pierced (Sebastian A), and Ash-Crown (Camilla). Unnamed classes include Mud-Treader, Candle-Snuffer, Gut-Rinner, and Gazer-of-Flesh. It is not yet confirmed how many will be accessible in the test itself.
  • The Duskbloods is a PvPvE multiplayer game, a significant departure from FromSoftware's usual single-player structure.
