Void Interactive has confirmed that its tactical police FPS title Ready or Not will be available on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S later this year, with Epic Games Store and Microsoft Store releases also planned.

The details:

  • The game will be available on consoles and non-Steam marketplaces this summer, as announced alongside a new trailer shown at last week's Galaxies Gaming Showcase. The console port will include all of the game's existing base content as well as full crossplay functionality across all platforms with up to four other players.

  • Both console and PC players will be able to access two new missions arriving with the free Stories from Los Sueños update later this year. Those who pre-order the game on console will also have access to the M32A1 grenade launcher, MK-V pistol, and 590M shotgun, while PC owners will receive the items free.

  • The base version of the game will retail for $50, but those willing to spend $70 will be able to grab the Digital Deluxe Edition, which includes both of the game's existing paid DLCs, Home Invasion and Dark Waters, as well as a third upcoming DLC pack and the aforementioned pre-order bonuses.

  • Ready or Not has amassed a devoted following since its early access release in 2021, with many viewing it as a spiritual successor to the SWAT franchise, which put players in the shoes of a squad of tactical police officers in high-pressure situations. Both players and enemies can be killed in a matter of shots, and criminals and terrorists must be carefully dispatched using a variety of gadgets and weapons, with arrests valued more highly than outright killing.
