Summer Game Fest 2025 dates, location, and more confirmed

Summer Game Fest, Geoff Keighley's E3 successor, will return this year with another livestream featuring "video game announcements, surprises, and reveals" as well as in-person events held in Los Angeles.
The details:
The event's annual kickoff livestream is scheduled for Friday, June 6, at 5 p.m. EST/2 p.m. PST/10 p.m. GMT. The stream will be broadcast live from the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles, California, and will run for roughly two hours, featuring a number of big reveals and trailers from publishers of varying sizes. Last year's event, for example, featured Riot Games, Amazon, Sony's Guerrilla Games, and numerous other well-known studios.
SGF's "Play Days" will also return, allowing invited journalists, content creators, and other industry figures to get hands-on experience with new games. The iam8bit-produced event will take place from June 7 to June 9 in LA.
A new addition to SGF is a business-to-business event organized by former GamesIndustry.biz head Christopher Dring, which Keighley will also attend. The event will bring together prominent figures from the gaming and entertainment industries to discuss "some of the key changes, challenges, and opportunities facing the global video game industry," as well as "celebrate the cultural impact and importance of video games."
Tickets to attend the event in-person will go on sale sometime during the spring, and email and text alerts can now be signed up for on the SGF website.
