Sony announces two limited edition PS5 bundles to tie in with Ghost of Yōtei release

In the lead-up to Ghost of Yōtei’s release on October 2, Sucker Punch and PlayStation have unveiled two striking Limited Edition PS5 bundles inspired by traditional Japanese art. These bundles are said to celebrate the game’s themes of resilience, vengeance, and exploration through thoughtful hardware design.

The details:

• The Gold Limited Edition features gold detailing inspired by Kintsugi, reflecting protagonist Atsu’s journey of healing. The Black Limited Edition uses bold Sumi-e brush strokes to symbolise the beauty and mystery of Ezo and Atsu’s internal struggle.

• Both bundles include custom DualSense controllers adorned with a silhouette of Atsu and elements from the game’s art style. Console covers and standalone controllers will also be sold separately, compatible with PS5 Slim and PS5 Pro.

• Launch Details & Game Overview: Ghost of Yōtei follows Atsu, a warrior seeking vengeance against the Yōtei Six, the outlaws who destroyed her family. Players can expect a focus on exploration, personal storytelling, and a deeply stylised world steeped in Japanese artistic tradition.
