Sony has confirmed that PlayStation’s first State of Play of 2026 will air later this week, promising more than an hour of announcements, gameplay updates, and new looks at upcoming PS5 titles from both third‑party partners and PlayStation Studios.

The details:

  • As announced in a PlayStation Blog post, the new State of Play is set for Thursday, 12th February, starting at 2pm PT / 5pm ET / 10pm GMT, and will be available to watch on PlayStation’s official YouTube and Twitch channels. Sony says viewers can look forward to over 60 minutes of content, making it the longest showcase to date.
  • According to the official announcement, the State of Play will feature a mix of “eye‑catching third‑party and indie games headed to PS5” alongside the “latest from teams at PlayStation Studios.” Sony has not confirmed any specific games that will feature, but it's likely that some of the company’s previously announced titles, such as Marathon, Saros, and Marvel’s Wolverine, will make an appearance.
