- The main State of Play begins at 6AM PT / 9AM ET / 2PM BST on September 3 and streams live on PlayStation's YouTube and Twitch channels. State of Play Japan, hosted by Yuki Kaji, airs directly after with deep dives into Japanese and Asian studio projects.
- Final Fantasy VII Revelation is the only game Sony has confirmed by name for the main showcase. Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, Naughty Dog's new IP which has been absent since its reveal, is the most widely rumoured appearance.
- The showcase arrives ahead of the October release of Marvel's Wolverine and is expected to include a preview of Sony's broader 2027 lineup.
