Rumors of Persona 3 receiving a remake have been circulating for a while, but it appears an announcement could be just around the corner.
The details:
- Pan-hime, a prominent Persona dataminer, claimed this week that a Persona 3 remake would be announced "soon" and that the "Atlus initiative for releasing games on all platforms is real." Persona Central also noticed that the domain "P3RE.JP," which was registered in March 2023, had been updated to switch from Onamae to Amazon nameservers, which Atlus typically uses for its domains.
- It has now been claimed by Twitter user @MbKKssTBhz5 that the title of the remake will be "Persona 3 Reload," with the game being released across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S later this year. The user also claimed that the game will be revealed on June 11 during the Xbox Games Showcase and that it is a "full remake," but it isnβt "definitive."
- Im A Hero Too, a ResetEra leaker, also confirmed the title with a less direct post, "Make sure you load and Reload the Xbox show on Sunday." The same leaker also claimed Persona 6's main color would be green, with MbKKssTBhz5 claiming the title would be revealed this year alongside the other unannounced title, P5T.
More leaks and rumors:
- According to a recent leak, Payday 3 will be released in September. An official announcement as well as a gameplay reveal are expected at Summer Game Fest.
- Multiple credible sources have claimed that rumors of a Final Fantasy IX remake being developed by Square Enix are "real" and that the game will retain the traditional gameplay style, but that it "isn't on the same level as FF7's remake."
