Nioh 3 is coming to PS5 and PC in 2026, console demo available now

The third installment in Team Ninja's soulslike series Nioh has been announced as a PlayStation exclusive for 2026, with a demo available right now on PS5.
The details:
As announced in PlayStation's recent State of Play showcase, the game will be available on PC and PS5 sometime next year. A free limited-time demo for the game is now available on PS5, and it will remain exclusive to the console until June 18.
According to Team Ninja head Fumihiko Yasuda, the game will tell the story of a "young warrior poised to become the next Shogun." Little else has been revealed, but it will have an open field structure for the first time in the series.
However, Yasuda confirmed that it will feature two distinct combat styles: samurai and ninja. Samurai combat is similar to combat in past Nioh games in that it focuses on parrying attacks and utilizing enhanced martial arts. Meanwhile, Ninja provides greater maneuverability through faster dodges, aerial actions, last-minute attack evasion skills, and various Ninjitsu techniques that enable the player to perform actions such as leaving behind decoy clones. Both styles can be swapped between freely and instantly for deeper combat.
