Minecraft Dungeons 2 officially announced for PS5, Xbox, Switch, and PC

Mojang has confirmed that Minecraft Dungeons 2 will be released later this year across all major platforms.

The details:

• As unveiled during the latest Minecraft Live presentation, the sequel is being developed by Mojang Studios and Double Eleven, and will support cross-platform play. The game will arrive in fall 2026, though no set release date has been revealed as of yet.
• Minecraft Dungeons 2 is described as an "all-new action RPG adventure," with high-stakes encounters, difficult dungeon runs, and "epic amounts of loot" across previously unseen locations in the Minecraft universe. The title will support solo play or co-op with up to three friends.
