After a long wait, Capcom has finally shown off gameplay of Pragmata, its upcoming sci-fi adventure title.

The details:

  • As shown during Tokyo Game Show 2025, Capcom debuted a new gameplay trailer for Pragmata, showcasing its combat mechanics, environmental traversal, and the Shelter hub where players can upgrade abilities and prepare for missions. The trailer highlights how protagonists Hugh and Diana work together, with Diana hacking enemy defenses to expose weak points while also solving environmental puzzles, and Hugh using his weapons and thrusters to navigate the space station.
  • Despite the new footage, Capcom has still not announced a release date for Pragmata, which is scheduled to launch in 2026 on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The publisher also stopped short of confirming whether the game might face further delays.
  • Since its original reveal in 2020, not much has been revealed about Pragmata to the public. However, those who have been able to get their hands on a demo of the game at events have praised its gameplay and the human connection between its dual protagonists.
