Original article:
Warhorse Studios has confirmed that the release date for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has been brought forward a week as it announces that the game has gone gold.
The details:
In a new update video, Warhorse global PR manager Tobias Stolz-Zwilling confirmed that the RPG will now be released on February 4, 2025, instead of February 11, as the studio focuses on optimizing the final game. “KCD2 is also gold now,” Stolz-Zwilling said. “What does that mean? Well, it means that the game is more or less finished, we are right now in the last stretches of optimizations and of bug fixing.”
The game has been confirmed for release on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5, with enhancements for PS5 Pro users. Warhorse intends to release additional specifications for both PC and console versions later today, along with a new story trailer.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 was announced earlier this year, with a target release window of 2024. However, Warhorse confirmed that the game would be delayed until next February after admitting that it would not be finished by the end of the year.
