Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 has been delayed to 2025
Warhorse Studios has announced that Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 will now be released in February of next year.
The details:
In a video posted to X, Warhorse Studios PR manager Tobias Stolz-Zwilling revealed that, while the studio had planned to release the game later this year, it had to delay the launch until February 11, 2025. He also mentioned that the new release date coincides with the anniversary week of the first game's launch.
However, the delay has not changed the developer's plans for the future, which include a showcase featuring over 20 minutes of gameplay at Gamescom next week, as well as the debut of a new trailer during its Opening Night Live show. The studio will also reveal its Collector's Edition, and creators and journalists will begin sharing previews shortly.
Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 was announced earlier this year as a direct sequel to the original 2018 title. Set in early 15th century Bohemia, the RPG series has been praised for its more realistic gameplay elements and historical accuracy, with its protagonist, Henry, starting out as an average 15th century peasant.
