Halo Studios has announced that it plans to share more details about its upcoming Halo projects at the Halo World Championship next month in a “deep dive” presentation.

The details:

  • The studio confirmed that it will be making an appearance at the esports event, which will take place from October 24 to 26, in a post to Halo Waypoint. It will host a community stage with various panels, including one with Master Chief and Cortana voice actors Steve Downes and Jen Taylor, a cosplay contest, and more to celebrate the 15th and 10th anniversaries of Halo: Reach and Halo 5.
  • Halo Studios will also take to the main stage to share more about its Halo projects, which were first announced back in October 2024, when it confirmed that several new games built using Unreal Engine 5 were in the works. Nothing else has been revealed about its plans, but the developer noted that the deep dive will take place on the community stage, which will likely include more details regarding “Project Foundry.”
  • 343 Industries announced that it had become Halo Studios as it confirmed that the new projects were in the works. It also marked the company’s shift from the unreliable in-house Slipspace Engine used in Halo Infinite to Unreal Engine 5 after it was reported that several technical limitations resulted in a large amount of cut and scrapped content.
