Ghost of Yotei has sold 3.3 million copies in its first month, Sony reveals

It has been confirmed that Ghost of Yotei has sold 3.3 million units during its first month of release on PlayStation 5.

• As announced by Sony during its latest financial report, Ghost of Yotei has surpassed 3.3 million units sold within its launch month as a PS5 exclusive after releasing on October 2. The sales figure puts Yotei roughly in line with its predecessor, Ghost of Tsushima, which sold 2.4 million units in its first three days and 5 million units in four months.
• It was previously reported that Ghost of Yotei had the strongest first weekend sales in Europe since the release of Insomniac’s Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, making it the biggest first-party PlayStation release in the region since 2023.
• It’s worth noting that its predecessor was released during the COVID-19 pandemic on the PS4, which had a larger number of users than the PS5 currently has. The price of Ghost of Yotei is also $10 higher than that of Ghost of Tsushima, making the sales figure even more impressive for an exclusive single-player title.
