Baldur’s Gate 3 developer Larian Studios opens new Warsaw-based studio
Larian Studios, best known as the developer of Baldur’s Gate 3, has announced it is opening its seventh studio, Larian Warsaw.
The details:
Larian Warsaw is the company's first Polish studio, and it will collaborate with its other locations on two upcoming RPG titles. “With two very ambitious RPGs now starting development, what better way to see our visions realised than by growing the team and opening a 7th studio in the heart of Poland’s lively gaming scene,” Larian wrote on X.
The company is currently hiring for a variety of development and design positions, as well as writers and producers. All job openings can be found on the Larian Warsaw careers page.
After deciding not to create an expansion for Baldur's Gate 3 or continue with the Dungeons & Dragons franchise, Larian is working on two RPG projects based on original IPs. Nothing about either title has been revealed yet, but Larian has confirmed that it will continue to work on cross-platform mod support for Baldur's Gate 3, with a release expected this year.
