Ghost of Tsushima is the biggest single-player PlayStation launch on PC
Following its release on Thursday, Ghost of Tsushima now has the most concurrent players of any single-player PlayStation PC title on Steam.
The details:
According to SteamDB, Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut peaked on Sunday with 77,154 concurrent players, more than 3,600 more than God of War, which had the previous single-player record of 73,529. The game is also available through the Epic Games Store.
The game currently has the second-highest player count for a PlayStation title on Steam, trailing only Helldivers 2, which peaked at 458,709 players back in February.
Ghost of Tsushima’s PC release has been received well by players and critics, despite reports that multiplayer would require a PlayStation Network account. Nixxes Software later confirmed that the crossplay feature would be released with a "Beta" tag, allowing players to access the game without the requirement.
