It has been announced that SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio will delist Yakuza 3 Remastered as a standalone title from digital storefronts following the upcoming release of Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties.

The details:

  • With the launch of Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties scheduled for February 12, Yakuza 3 Remastered will only be available as part of the Yakuza Complete Series bundle going forward. The game is currently available digitally for $19.99 on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC across several storefronts.
  • The Yakuza Complete Series bundle includes Yakuza Kiwami, Kiwami 2, 3 Remastered, 4 Remastered, 5 Remastered, 6: The Song of Life, and 0 Director's Cut. The collection is priced at $129.99 across PS4/5, Xbox One/Series X|S, and PC and will not be affected by the delisting.
  • PlayStation players also have the option to purchase a physical copy of the Yakuza Remastered Collection, which contains remasters of Yakuza 3, 4, and 5. The title currently retails for around $29.99, but prices could rise if stocks begin to run low.
  • Players who already own Yakuza 3 Remastered will retain access to the game. Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio confirmed that those new to the series wishing to experience the original version of the game will need to purchase the Yakuza Complete Series bundle.
  • In the statement, the studio expressed gratitude for community support and emphasized its commitment to staying faithful to its creative direction for Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties, describing the game as featuring "completely new experiences" they have envisioned for the franchise.
