Ahead of Gamescom next month, Xbox has revealed its plans for the event, confirming that attendees will be able to test out its upcoming ROG Xbox Ally handhelds as well as a number of games, including Hollow Knight: Silksong.

The details:

  • In a new blog post, Xbox confirmed that over 20 games from both its first-party and third-party studios will be available to play at Gamescom, which will take place between August 20 and August 24. Some of the games have yet to be playable for the public, including Ninja Gaiden 4, Onimusha: Way of the Sword, and Grounded 2.
  • Several games will also be playable on both PC and Xbox and ASUS’s upcoming ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X handhelds at the show. This includes Roblox, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4, and Team Cherry’s long-awaited Hollow Knight: Silksong, which will make its playable debut.
  • Alongside the playable demos, Xbox has stated that “other fun activities and photo opportunities” will be available at its booth alongside a theater experience for The Outer Worlds 2. An “Xbox @ gamescom” livestream will also be broadcast live on August 20 and August 21, showing off the event.
